Frequently asked questions.

What comes in a Drop, what materials we use, how installation works, and what to know before putting graphics on your vehicle.

What is WrapDrop?

WrapDrop creates limited-release vehicle graphic kits built around a coordinated visual concept. Instead of commissioning a full custom wrap, you choose a Drop and receive the graphics, basic application tools, and installation guidance needed to transform selected high-impact areas of your vehicle.

What comes in the box?

Each kit includes the WrapDrop graphics for the package shown on the product page, basic application tools, and access to installation guidance. The exact panels and finish are listed with each Drop.

What material are the graphics printed on?

WrapDrop graphics are professionally printed on Avery Dennison 1105 EZRS automotive wrap film and protected with MAX laminate. Depending on the specific Drop, the laminate may be gloss, satin, or matte. The finish is identified on the Drop page.

How are WrapDrop graphics printed?

Graphics are produced with professional resin wrap-printing technology designed for high-quality automotive graphics. Production details may vary as WrapDrop's manufacturing process evolves, but the finished product is intended for exterior automotive application.

Can I install a Drop myself?

Yes. WrapDrop is designed to make individual-panel and accent installations approachable for DIY customers. Larger pieces are easier with two people. If you are uncomfortable applying automotive vinyl, a local professional wrap installer can install the kit for you.

How long will the graphics last?

There is no single lifespan that applies to every installation. Exposure, climate, installation quality, maintenance, vehicle storage, and the orientation of the wrapped surface all affect longevity.

Horizontal and near-horizontal areas such as hoods, roofs, trunks, and spoilers generally receive substantially more UV and environmental exposure than vertical surfaces. With proper care—and especially when a vehicle is regularly stored indoors—wraps can remain in good condition for several years, or even longer.

WrapDrop recommends monitoring the condition of the graphics throughout their installation, with particular attention around the one-year mark. After approximately one year of exposure, especially on horizontal and near-horizontal surfaces, strongly consider removal to help protect the underlying paint finish.

When should I remove the graphics immediately?

Remove the graphics promptly if you notice browning, a burned appearance, cracking, significant brittleness, or other obvious deterioration. Continuing to leave visibly deteriorated film on the vehicle can increase the risk of difficult removal or damage to the underlying finish.

Does WrapDrop warranty the graphics or my vehicle's paint?

No. WrapDrop products are sold as-is and without a product or paint-finish warranty. WrapDrop does not guarantee a specific service life, continued appearance, trouble-free removal, or the condition of the vehicle's paint after installation or removal.

Paint condition, prior repairs, repaint history, clear-coat condition, installation technique, removal technique, exposure, and maintenance are outside WrapDrop's control. By installing the graphics, the customer accepts the risks associated with applying and removing automotive vinyl.

Can I return or exchange a Drop?

No. All sales are final because WrapDrop products are custom-run for the selected Drop and order and cannot reasonably be restocked or resold. If an order arrives damaged or there is a verified WrapDrop production error, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

How does shipping work?

WrapDrop orders ship by UPS. Current processing and shipping terms are shown in the Shipping Policy and may vary for special or exclusive releases.

Are limited or exclusive Drops reprinted?

When a Drop is represented as an Exclusive Edition, the original edition is permanently retired when the published quantity sells out or the sales window closes. A legitimate replacement for verified shipping loss, transit damage, or a WrapDrop production error does not create a new edition; the original is invalidated and the same edition may be reproduced.

Damage after successful delivery—including installation mistakes, later removal, accidents, or owner loss—does not ordinarily create a right to another copy.

Before you install

Start with clean, sound paint.

Automotive vinyl should be applied only to a properly prepared surface. Previously repaired, repainted, damaged, peeling, oxidized, or otherwise compromised finishes may react differently during installation or removal.
